I have been writing for as long as I can remember, way back when my handwriting was bad (which I have since spent hundreds of hours perfecting). Most of what I write is inspired by dreams I have.
I’ve never had a dream where I showed up to the wrong exam, or am doing something perfectly mundane; most of mine are lucid and have very oddly driven plots. I do my best to remember, and once I’m awake and realize how fucking crazy it all is, I try to fill in the gaps 🙂
I’ve been writing poetry longer than anything else, and later this year I’m hoping to publish my first volume. The longer works are usually novellas, with perhaps two or three exceptions for bigger things.
I’m inspired by all things dreary, creepy, melancholy, and morbid, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Niceness is overrated.
A big thanks to all the gravestones and ghosts at Monument and Evergreen Cemeteries for giving me a lot of muse and some really catchy names!
